Sydney Sports Podiatry
Care for the Australian Defence Force
The podiatrists at Sydney Sports Podiatry are registered providers for Garrison Health, providing clinical care for members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
Our principal podiatrist, Andrew Bull, served as an Army Reserve Infantry Officer for 12 years. This background provides an intimate understanding of the physical rigours associated with carrying heavy loads over long distances and the specific impact these demands have on the feet and legs.
Having managed a variety of defence personnel, Andrew understands the unique requirements for functional support, comfort, and suitability in military environments. While our custom orthotics are designed for comfort, we utilise durable materials engineered to support their structural integrity under high-impact conditions.
From a clinical perspective, we find that more robust materials are often necessary to provide reliable, long-term functional support for the foot and ankle. Our goal is to assist in the management of foot, leg, or knee discomfort by prioritising the suitability and specific clinical needs of each member.
